Since patient comfort is a crucial part of our dental treatments, Dr. Green and his clinical staff go the extra mile to make a visit to the office a whole new positive experience. Below are some of the more common procedures we routinely perform in our office.
Porcelain laminate veneers are literally a "shell covering" placed over the teeth to enhance or correct their appearance. Whether to close spaces, increase size, change color or straighten the teeth, veneers are one of the most exciting procedures we provide.
We use only the finest materials and laboratory to craft our custom porcelain veneers.
We also use Digital Imaging to manipulate digital photos so that they reflect what your smile would look like after cosmetic procedures. This will allow you to make truly informed decisions about your care!

Now patients who are missing teeth have a strong, beautiful alternative to bridges, partials, or full dentures. Dental implants will improve your smile and your lifestyle. They look, feel, and function like natural teeth because of a titanium anchor attached to the jawbone. Implants can also anchor bridges, partials, or full dentures to eliminate slipping.
By imitating an entire natural tooth, from the root up, dental implants offer a prosthetic that closely mimics nature. The result? Dental implant patients enjoy restored function, which allows a healthy diet of hard-to-chew foods. Speech may also improve. Strong and secure, your new smile will boost your confidence, enhance your appearance, and improve your quality of life.

Dental implants provide a stable foundation for dentures for people who have lost all of their natural teeth. It is estimated that implant
supported dentures will restore nearly 90% of chewing ability.

Composite resin bonding is used to repair fractures as well as to
laminate (or cover) teeth to enhance appearance. These procedures are
usually accomplished in one appointment and with little or no
discomfort! We are proud to produce some of the most beautiful smiles
through our extensive experience.

The iCAT provides a Three Dimensional Computer Aided Tomography. The image is captured in an 8 second span. It is precise and undistorted, convenient, in an Open Environment and with significantly less radiation than a medical CT scan. In order to elevate the standard of care of his patients, Dr. James Green has made this technology available to the Wichita Falls Area. Having this technology in Wichita Falls saves patient's travel time to Dallas, as well as reduces time to communicate the results.

Crowns are used to restore both anterior and posterior teeth that have
been broken or are at high risk of doing so due to old, over-sized
fillings or fractures. There are a variety of materials used to
construct these, and by working with the finest laboratories in the
country, we are pleased to produce crowns that look and feel like your
real teeth.

Bridges are fixed or non-removable prosthesis that are constructed to
replace one or more missing teeth. The teeth on either of the existing
space are used to anchor the bridge to restore functionality as well as
aesthetics. We are now able to construct beautiful porcelain over metal
as well as full porcelain and resin-based bridges to produce the best
results for each particular situation.

Today's dentistry has allowed us the pleasure of combining beauty as
well as strength when filling teeth. This may include removing old
amalgam fillings (sometimes called silver or mercury fillings) that
have darkened and become ugly over time. We take pride in "restoring"
teeth to as close to their original strength and with dramatically
improved appearance using composite resins and ceramics.

Periodontics is the dental specialty involved with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal gum diseases. Gum disease is a chronic bacterial infection that affects the gums and bone supporting the teeth. It begins when the bacteria in plaque (the colorless film that constantly forms on your teeth) causes the gums to become inflamed and bleed easily. If left untreated, this infection can lead to tooth loss. Persistent bad breath generally accompanies these symptoms.
We offer all phases of Periodontal therapy including laser, and non-surgical and surgical treatments. We are proud to have our own Periodontal Specialist, Dr. Walter Blumenfeld, in our practice.

Uneven gums can play tricks on a smile, like making teeth look slanted,
or unusually large or unusually shaped. We can correct a "gummy smile"
by sculpting them to better frame your teeth the way nature intended
them to look.

This treatment is ideal for those who are happy with the color of their
teeth, but don't like the exact shapes of their teeth because of small
chips or slight crowding.

Dr. Green has taken extensive continuing education in the area of
orthodontics. His approach to orthodontics incorporates neuromuscular
training to help prevent and/or correct TMJ/TMD problems in order to
obtain the best cosmetic results.

Bleaching teeth can be one of the easiest, yet, most gratifying
procedures we perform for patients in our office. We are pleased to
offer different choices for whitening procedures, which are customized
for each person's wants and needs. From home bleaching to accelerated
in-office whitening, patients are enjoying whiter and brighter smiles
achieved in a very short amount of time.

Lumineers® by Cerinate® are porcelain veneers that offer another way to
a permanently whiter and perfectly aligned smile. Your Lumineers
dentist can apply these contact lens-thin "smile shapers" to your teeth
without any grinding or shaving.
